Things to Do

I would like to write about my things to do. It’s a good exercise for everyone and I’ll begin with things I did, then with things I do, and finally with things I will do. Let us begin.

It’s strange to remember everything that I’ve done but I just think it seems like yesterday. I remember that I started working when I was 17 years old. I had my first car when I was 19 years old, and I had my first baby when I was 20 years old.

This time in my life I think was very fast. It makes me remember that a palm reader read my hand. (But, it’s worth mentioning that I don’t believe in this practice, right?!) This person told me that I wouldn’t walk, instead I would run. For sure, I need to be more of a believer. He was right.

Also, I remember that I didn’t have free time because in the morning I went to university. Then I went to computer classes, and then I went to English classes. (Yes, yes, I’ve been studying English for that long). I only had free time on the weekends, but that time was spent with my baby.

That time was very difficult, but the good thing was that I was very thin. I weighed 49.5 kilograms. (Hopefully, one day I will return to this weight.) I weighed that because I ran all over Mexico City. (I’m speaking figuratively.)

After that, everything changed because I finished university. Then I looked for a job, and then I found love.

With my husband, I completed my family with 3 children. Now they are adults, but when they were kids, oh my god!!!! My life became very fast again: in the morning I would have breakfast, then we went to school, but I needed to go to 3 schools, kindergarten, elementary school and high school, and then I went to work. Quite a crazy routine. (That’s why now couples don’t have children. Ha,ha,ha !!!)

But, I’ve had good moments too, I’ve been able to travel, and now I have more time to share with my family and I would like to have my own business. But the COVID-19 pandemic hasn’t made it easy to start a business. However, I started renting my house with Airbnb. This has been a new enriching experience.

Finally, my things to do next are: get my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, make sure my children finish university, start my own business. I must start doing exercise and keep learning English.

I was running in my youth, but everything turned out all right.
